There are weddings that are beautiful, and then there are weddings that completely shift the energy of a room the second you walk in. Lindsey and Brendan’s wedding at Wee Burn Beach Club was exactly that kind of celebration- colorful and overflowing with personality from beginning to end. Lindsey’s beaming smile was unforgettable.

Her design was one of a kind, Lindsey is very creative and envisioned a wedding day that felt vibrant, welcoming, and fun, with many personal touches. Every detail reflected the two of them in such an intentional way, creating a guest experience that felt elevated while still incredibly warm and colorful. Lindsey hand painted her table numbers, and displayed photo collages of them throughout the venue replacing the club’s artwork for the day with their own love story.
As a Connecticut Wedding Planner & Designer, these are the celebrations we love most, weddings where thoughtful design and emotion exist hand in hand.

The day began with a beautiful ceremony at St. Catherine of Siena Church surrounded by family, friends, where 240 guests gathered to celebrate, the energy throughout the church was truly unforgettable. Even the priest commented on the applause the couple received. The joy on Lindsey and Brendan’s faces said everything. Big smiles, happy tears, laughter echoing through the pews, it was the kind of ceremony that reminds you exactly what weddings are about. We couldn’t keep it together when Lindsey’s Dad said it was the best day of his life.
One of the most breathtaking moments of the day came just after the ceremony, when photographer Laura Rose captured stunning drone imagery of all 240 guests surrounding the newlyweds outside the church. Seeing that sea of people celebrating them from above was such a powerful reminder of the love that filled this wedding weekend.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to Wee Burn Beach Club where the reception design came to life in the most beautiful way.
The overall aesthetic blended coastal Connecticut elegance with playful color and layered texture. The reception space featured lush colorful florals by Tenth of June Floral paired with green printed linens from BBJ La Tavola, creating a tablescape beautfiully welcoming spring.
Every table felt intentionally curated and fun while still maintaining an effortless, exactly the feeling Lindsey wanted guests to experience the moment they walked into the room.
And one of our favorite details of the entire day? Lindsey personally hand painted every single table number herself as part of her overall wedding design vision.

Guests arrived by bus and trolley transportation before the evening transitioned into a waterside cocktail hour and entertainment by East Coast Band. From the very first song, the energy never slowed down. Ain’t No Mountain High enough baby!
