When you think of a Connecticut wedding with coastal New England charm, you picture rolling lawns, timeless details, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Brianna & Nick’s celebration at Smith Farm Gardens brought all of that to life with added unforgettable, one-of-a-kind touches that made the day purely their own.
This was a wedding that perfectly blended classic cozy New England elegance with coastal vibes—from sentimental guest experiences to playful nods at their love story.
One of the most meaningful moments? Guests signed fabric pieces that will later be stitched into a quilt that Brianna & Nick can wrap themselves in for years to come. Their rings, designed to fit together like puzzle pieces, were another deeply personal symbol of their story custom created.
The couple leaned into cozy details that reflected their personalities. Their stationery suite, crafted by Al Dente Designs Co, featured Brianna’s love for plaids and picnics along with whimsical nods to their two Saint Bernards. From signage to menus, every detail felt true to them.
Set against the lush backdrop of Smith Farm Gardens, guests dined on seasonal fare from Small Kitchen Big Taste while live saxophone by Jay McKay and curated tracks from Mystic River Entertainment kept the night upbeat and soulful. A cigar bar lounge, twinkle-lit tenting, and the soft coastal breeze gave the evening that relaxed-yet-luxurious vibe only a New England celebration can create.
As the planning team behind Brianna & Nick’s day, we loved weaving together each element—from soft florals by Floral Designs by Melissa to the quilt-inspired guest book and thoughtful plaid details. The result was a wedding that felt effortless, yet carried layers of personal meaning.
If you’re dreaming of a Connecticut wedding planner who will bring out your story in every detail—whether at Smith Farm Gardens, a coastal estate, or another New England gem—we’d love to help craft your day.
