Fairytale Wedding at Waveny House

B & D’s love story, A midsummer night’s dream meets secret garden in this romantic celebration of love in New Canaan, Connecticut. 

The design consisted of pastel taper candles, books hand-picked by the bride, and enchanting floral details told a story all their own—fitting for a couple who are both editors and storytellers (she’s a published author, too!). Every detail was a nod to timeless tales and their own fairytale romance.

We were honored to bring this vision to life at Of Elegance Events—an unforgettable wedding full of heart, creativity, and beauty.

At Of Elegance we don’t see things in black and white. We see them in COLOR! B & D had a unique vision of dancing outside under Waveny’s covered space. With showers outside, we did everything we could to keep the romantic vibes afloat and created a dancefloor under the brickwork set in front of growing vines and florals up the arched walls.

Guests then dined inside for a charming, elegant dinner by candlelight with lush bud vase arrangements all the way down each table.
