There are wedding days that feel cinematic from the very first moment Katie & Harry’s celebration at Le Chateau, one of the most iconic Westchester wedding venues, was one of them. Set against the timeless architecture of this historic estate, their November wedding unfolded with an effortless blend of romance, family legacy, and elevated design details that couples planning a Le Chateau wedding dream of.
As a planner who grew up just down the road from Le Chateau, guiding Katie & Harry through the final steps of their planning process felt especially meaningful. I’ve admired this venue since childhood, and helping couples design unforgettable Le Chateau weddings is now one of my favorite parts of serving the Westchester and Fairfield County region.
The day began at Church of the Holy Spirit in Stamford, a meaningful choice for the couple. It’s the same church where Katie’s parents and sisters were married, bringing a beautiful sense of continuity and tradition to their ceremony. After eight years together, exchanging vows in such a sentimental space made their moment even more emotional.
A highlight of the day was the involvement of the couple’s nieces and nephews, who played special roles throughout the celebration. Their energy, excitement, and sweet interactions added so much heart to the day—something we love spotlighting as a Connecticut and Westchester wedding planner.
Guests were welcomed to Le Chateau with a stunning floral staircase installation by Enza Events, one of the most-loved features of this Westchester estate wedding venue. The cascading design framed the grand entryway and set the tone for an elevated and romantic evening.
It also created the perfect backdrop for one of the gallery’s standout images—Katie & Harry’s iconic dip beneath the chandelier.

Inside the ballroom, their design vision came to life with luxurious touches including velvet bow menus, soft seasonal florals, and candlelight that complemented the venue’s European-inspired architecture. For couples planning a romantic Le Chateau wedding, these small textural moments make a big visual impact and elevate the guest experience.
One of the most memorable moments of the night came during their reception entrance, when Faze 4 Orchestras (Project Madison) performed September with a personalized twist—changing the lyric to “21st night of November.” It was the perfect kick-off to a dance floor that stayed full all night long, something every couple hopes for at their Le Château reception.
From heartfelt speeches to their stunning DiMare Pastry Shop cake, every part of the evening reflected who Katie & Harry are—warm, connected, and ready to celebrate with the people they love most.
As a Le Chateau wedding planner, our role is to ensure that every detail flows seamlessly—from building the full timeline in advance, to coordinating every vendor, to managing transportation, ceremony logistics, family photos, reception transitions, and late-night breakdown. Our goal is always the same: allow our couples to be fully present and truly enjoy their day.
